Prepared early today for the 2nd HRDM Student Convention held at J Center Convention Hall, A.S Fortuna, Mandaue City hosted by The Business Administration Department of The University of San Carlos, with the theme "HR Readiness Towards ASEAN Integration: Crossing Borders and Scaling New Heights".
While waiting for the jeep to head to J Center Mall, I took a couple of pictures of the early morning road near Ayala Center Cebu. Was so different to see it so bare and deserted, although had it had a nice feel to it as you were able to embrace the surroundings without the hassle of traffic and passengers.
We were lucky with the weather arriving at J Center Mall and proceeded directly upstairs to the convention hall. Before entering we had to sign in for attendance. The layout and organization of the registration was well prepared with clear signs and friendly faces.
At this point wee were also greeted by a surprising, yet powerfully loud live band. Here is short video of their welcoming performance:
Finally we entered the large convention room, found our seats and awaited for the beginning of the program. This would mark another preparation students would be going through in order to align themselves with the upcoming 2015 ASEAN (The Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Integration.
For those interested in knowing more about the upcoming 2015 ASEAN Integration here is a couple of short videos. The first summarizes the key points and the '7 Things you need to know about ASEAN:
